This album was recorded in Nashville in the Summer of 1998. It was produced by Joe's long time friend, Roger Cook (who was number 1 in the U.S country charts at the time). The cream of the Nashville session players were used with Joe & Neil contributing their performances.
The songs recorded include four Roger Cook songs, three John Prine songs, one Joe Brown original and a couple of well known covers.
This record was provisionally entitled The Cockney Cowboy and some pre release copies were made available under this title.
